Rock Taping


Rock Taping is used for but not limited to Back Pain, Rotator Cuff, Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow, Plantar Fasciitis, Shin Splints, Lower Extremity Pain, Upper Extremity Pain, Posture taping, Performance Core Chain functions (Stabilize the pelvis and spine for movements and breathing), releasing scar tissue, and improving blood flow to bruised areas.

How Does It Work:

Fascia Movement Taping (FMT) is used to foster proper movement for acute injures, chronic cases, injury prevention and performance improvement and training.  It is used for reducing swelling or an adjunct to training and competition to improve performance and recovery. Rock Taping is used to increase range of motion, not limit it, allowing joints to move through a full range of motion.  

Rock Taping stimulates a variety of sensory nerves in the skin and underlying tissues.  This stimulation reduces the pain by stimulating the myriad of sensor receptors in the skin and adjacent tissues thus having a pain reducing effect.  (Imagine when you hit your elbow; you immediately rub it to reduce the pain, same effect)
